Epic offers several self-service shopping experiences. Choose the option below that matches the location or equipment you are using. If you're not sure, look for the Epic name displayed at the store, market, or cooler.
EPIC ON THE GO
Epic On The Go locations are enclosed, checkout-free stores. The stores include shelves and refrigerated coolers, and use Amazon Just Walk Out technology. There is no checkout counter.
To enter, tap an accepted credit card at the entrance. A successful pre-authorization is required before the full-size door opens. Shop normally, return unwanted products to their original shelves and leave through the exit when finished. The purchase is calculated after departure.
EPIC MARKETS
Epic Markets are self-serve markets offering food, snacks, and beverages. Depending on the location, purchases may be completed at a self-checkout kiosk or through checkout-free technology.
Check the signs and instructions at the market before shopping. If the location has a kiosk, scan each product and complete payment at the kiosk. If it is checkout-free, follow the posted entry and shopping instructions.
EPIC EXPRESS
Epic Express is a self-serve smart cooler offering food, snacks, and beverages. Follow the instructions displayed on the cooler or card reader. Present an accepted payment method, unlock the door and select products. Close the door securely when finished. The cooler identifies the products selected and processes the purchase.
