After the shopping session ends, the Just Walk Out system calculates the products taken and submits the final charge to the accepted payment method used at entry. The final transaction may not appear immediately because processing and posting times vary by financial institution.
The temporary pre-authorization and final purchase may both appear on your account for a short time. Once the cancellation request for the pre-authorization is sent, your financial institution can begin releasing the reserved funds. Contact your financial institution if the pre-authorized hold remains longer than its stated processing period.
